Job Summary:

Our team is developing and deploying best-in-class Human Resources technology and services, with the aim of reshaping the employment dynamic for Craft Culinary Concepts. As the Regional Manager, People Operations you will help implement and drive policies, procedures, systems, and other best practices across the organization. You will be responsible for partnering across the business to provide comprehensive support in areas such as but not limited to employee relations, HR Compliance, performance management, benefits, leave of absence, staffing, and learning and development. We're looking for a passionate HR Manager who can give our team members a fantastic experience, drive retention, and provide best-in-class HR solutions.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Manage complex employee relations investigations and disputes
  • Design, implementation, facilitation, and tracking of training programs as needed
  • Policy & procedure development, implementation, and execution
  • Talent management including the implementation and facilitation of a performance review program
  • Benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) ancillary benefits, and COBRA
  • Leave of absence management including FMLA, worker's compensation, parental, etc.
  • Provide creative solutions to implement more structure within the People function of the organization to ensure a more streamlined structure to increase team member satisfaction and performance
  • HR Information System record administration and reporting
  • Manage several People Operations projects including paperless file conversion, transition of HRIS, I-9 Audit, etc.
  • Oversee payroll and create payroll auditing processes
  • Oversee People Operations Generalist(s) providing support when needed to payroll, staffing and onboarding, etc.
  • Ensure responding in a timely matter to employee inquiries, employment verifications, unemployment claims, garnishments, workers compensation claims, etc.
  • Stay abreast of Compliance and Regulatory initiatives while updating best practices, including all required federal, state, and local reporting requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience within People Operations (Human Resources)
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, and/or events industry
  • Experience supporting a healthy culture within an organization to include collaboration across teams and departments
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities that require strong project management, decision-making capabilities, and flexibility
  • Can communicate effectively with all individuals across the organization
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Must have a driver's license
  • Available to work on event days including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must attain a valid County Food Handler's Card on file with Craft and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
  • Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds
  • Ability to work in temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
